The Dao of (all) Therapy

My Approach

The Dao represents an intuitive understanding of a unifying principle that connects everything in the universe. Often translated as "the path" or "way," it embodies concepts such as spontaneity, receptive knowing, and aligning with life rather than resisting its natural flow. Many physical and mental ailments arise when we fall out of touch with this natural way.

Through body-oriented therapies like MABT and Massage, clients can reconnect with the part of themselves that aligns with this natural order. The body holds the answers, but sometimes it requires stepping out of the concious thought and tuning into the wisdom and inherent flow within. By doing so, we can begin to restore balance and heal both body and mind. Through careful assessment and a soothing intuitive touch, my goal is to help you connect with the DAO of your body in a seamless way.

When your body is not aligned, The inner power will not come.
When you are not tranquil within, Your mind will not be well-ordered.
Align your body, assist the inner power, Then it will gradually come on its own

FAQs

Yoga classes.

For private classes, some can be held at the same location, at your home, or at an outside location (Park, Beach, etc). Please book a consultation if interested in private yoga so we can pick a location that is best for your needs!

How many sessions should I book?

Depending on your goals, I recomend starting with one session to see how you like my work and if it meets your goals. Generally from there I would recomend yoga sessions 1-2 times per week and massage 1 to 2 times pers month for maintenance and weekly for more chronic problems.

Im not flexible, can I still practice Yoga?

Flexibility is not a required component to practice yoga. Though the modern view of yoga might include someone with their leg over their head or upside down in a head stand, this does not necessarily make you a “good” practitioner.

Yoga is about uniting the body and the mind, this could be through something as simple as a cross legged pose with the eyes closed and the mind still. Through consistent practiced and increased awareness, flexibility might be a result, but the various other benefits play a bigger roll
